Tantra
an ancient forgotten science, flourished in India around 10000 years back. It is believed
to be as ancient as Yoga. Reference of Tantra is found in ancient sanskrit scriptures.
Tantra has seven
paths, broadely divided into Black and White Tantra. The Tantric Diety of Power is
"KALI". One of the godesses in Indian mythology. Tantra looks upon the
incredible creative energy (to a laymen sexual energy) is the most potent yet DIVINE force
which is not being understood, nor used. The purpose of Tantra is to heighten and increase
this energy for self transformation and spiritual enlightment, using various states of
consciousness. These altered states of consciousness that one experiences during Tantric
rituals and various other practises.
